Stats Explorer
Descriptive stats, probability, inference, correlation and regression, all editable in the browser.
What is this?
A browser port of Stats Explorer, a statistics learning tool built around six tabs: Data, Descriptive statistics, Probability distributions, Statistical inference, Correlation and regression, and a formula Lab. A guided Learn section walks through 21 lessons built on real, cited datasets - Michelson's speed of light, the Titanic, the Salk polio vaccine trial, live USGS earthquakes and more - each ending in a written interpretation, not just a number.
How it works
Six tabs cover the full toolkit: editable data tables with CSV/Excel import, descriptive statistics and outlier detection, probability distributions (Normal, Binomial, Poisson, Exponential), inference tests (one- and two-sample means, paired data, Wilcoxon, Mann-Whitney, ANOVA, chi-square, proportions), correlation/regression, and a lab for clustering and anomaly detection. It runs entirely as a static page - no install, no server - in Spanish or English, with a link to switch between the two versions.
