Schelling Segregation
A toy model for emergence, clustering and unintended outcomes.
What is this?
An interactive version of Thomas Schelling's segregation model. Agents only ask for a small share of similar neighbors, yet the city can separate into large clusters.
How it works
Each agent checks nearby cells. If its neighborhood is below the tolerance threshold, it moves to an empty spot. Repeating that simple rule reveals how local comfort can create global structure.
