Quantum Lab

Double slit, Bell/CHSH, tunnelling and 7 more. Theory vs. event-by-event simulation.

What is this?

An interactive quantum-mechanics lab with 10 programmable experiments (double slit, photoelectric effect, Stern-Gerlach, quantum tunnelling, particle in a box, harmonic oscillator, Mach-Zehnder interferometer, Bell/CHSH inequality, free wave packet, and the uncertainty principle). Each one pairs an exact theoretical prediction with an event-by-event probabilistic simulation, to make it clear that quantum mechanics predicts probability distributions, not deterministic trajectories.

How it works

Pick an experiment, choose a preset or tune the parameters live, then run the probabilistic simulation: the histogram builds up event by event (photon by photon) next to the exact theoretical curve, so you can compare them directly. Every experiment has a four-level explanation (basic, intermediate, advanced, model limitations) and CSV/PNG export. The whole thing is a static browser app — no install — and available in English and Spanish (it follows the site language, with an in-app toggle).
