Continuous Lenia
Conway's Life, but soft: kernels, growth curves and paintable organisms.
What is this?
A browser version of Lenia, the continuous cellular automaton family. Instead of cells being simply alive or dead, every pixel stores a concentration that can form gliders, blobs and unstable biological-looking structures.
How it works
Each step convolves the field with a ring-shaped kernel and feeds the result into a growth function. Radius, growth center, width and time step are adjustable, and you can seed the world by painting directly on the canvas.
